Very lately I have been overcome by a burning desire to move to New York City.  This is not like me at all, and those who know me well are probably tilting their head to the side and narrowing their eyes at me asking, “what?!”, but it’s true.

A good few of the books I have been reading lately have been set there and the characters all seem to love the place more than a reasonable amount.  I only know one person in real life that lives there and he seems to like it as well.

S, on the other hand, does not ever want to live there.  He doesn’t even want to visit there again. Plus, who has the money to live in New York City? No one!

So, that is out.

I would like to indulge myself a bit longer, though, if you don’t mind.

And, here, have some of my favourite pictures of the place, as well.  When we were there a few years ago I had a bit too much fun taking pictures on the Brooklyn Bridge.  These five are now hanging, in this order, in our bedroom.  I love them more every day.

So, there you go. I want to move to New York City. I don’t see it happening, ever. So I will just watch episodes of Friends over and over again for eternity.
